The proportion of acid dye ink is small, about 7%, which is used for printing wool, nylon and other fabrics. Acid dye is a kind of water-soluble dye with acid group in structure, which is dyed in acid medium. Most acid dyes contain sodium sulfonate, which is soluble in water and has bright color and complete chromatogram. It is mainly used for dyeing wool, silk and nylon, as well as leather, paper and ink. It has no colouring power to cellulose fiber.
Many people in the market think that acid digital printing ink is corrosive, but in fact, it is not all right. Acid ink is the ink used under acidic conditions, not the pH value of the ink itself is acidic. It can even be more stable than active digital printing ink, because acid ink has no hydrolysis problem. The pH value of acid digital printing ink can be adjusted to the most suitable micro alkaline for the nozzle, while the hydrolysis speed of active digital printing ink will be accelerated under alkaline condition.
However, the color fastness and activity of acid dye ink are quite different, and acid ink soaking at high temperature is very serious. Acid digital printing fabric washing temperature can not be too high, silk and wool up to about 50 degrees, nylon up to 80 degrees.
